Friday Feature is a series where I feature people who inspire me, or products that I find interesting. Today, we have the super creative Sachiko from Filofax Love telling us a little bit about herself. Sachiko designs extremely adorable dividers and inserts that you can get from her Etsy shop (make sure to visit!) and am completely head over heels in love with all her cute artwork.
1. Tell us a bit about yourself, what do you like to do when you’re not planning?
I also enjoy painting and drawing using ink & watercolour. (You can see some of my work under “Illustration” on my blog!) I also like cooking, going to the movie theatre, chatting to my friends, and of course I absolutely love shopping etc…etc…!
2. What is your favourite planner and why?
My favourite is Filofax- I love how I can take out the old refills and always keep everything up to date, and it’s also 100% customisable!
3. What is your favourite planner accessory or stationery?
It’s really hard for me to choose just one favourite planner accessory lol! I love washi tapes and cute stickers, but I also really love my Pentel Multi 8. I love the softness of the colouring pencil when I’m doodling.
4. What inspired you to start a blog?
When I bought my very first Filofax I started checking Filofax-related blogs, and it was really enjoyable to see other people’s organisers! So I thought I wanted to start my own blog as well and do the same! 🙂
5. Where would you like to go on a holiday?
I’d like to go back to San Antonio, Texas for a holiday when I get the chance. I haven’t been there for a while and really miss it there!
6. What are your favourite stores (online or brick & mortar) to shop in?
I love stationery items, but I rarely buy them in the UK. Instead, I buy a stack of stationery items when I visit Japan every year. My favourite stores are Loft, Tokyu Hands, Kiddy Land and I also love Japanese 100 yen & 300 yen stores!
7. If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
That’s a really difficult question! I guess…. “Perfectionist”? I’m far from “Perfect”, but I can’t pull myself away from a project unless I’m absolutely satisfied!
