Square Masculine Birthday Card

So Simon Says Stamp has a new Monday Challenge and that is Be Square. I just received the WRMK Next Level geometric embossing folders today and wanted to try them out along with the deer head from Maggie Holmes Open Book die set, which I cut from a wood patterned paper.

The “birthday” word was cut using Papertrey Ink’s die and the music notes background is actually a thin origami paper from Daiso. Those Next Level embossing folders are amazing! I can’t wait to experiment on glitter paper and perhaps get more designs soon.

This is a 4″ square card using a plain white cardstock base.

What a fabulous card! I am always interested in masculine cards and this one is a stunner! I love the deer head and thought you were so clever to have cut it out of wood-grain paper. The color palette could not be more perfect and I loved seeing all of the detail that went into this card. Thank you so much for sharing such an inspiring project with us for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
