Planner Pages – February Recap

It’s rather strange that after I started using the Midori Traveler’s Notebook as a planner that I decorate less. Perhaps it’s because I now have a blank notebook where I can throw in more creative bits if I feel like it that the weekly planner pages are left rather empty.

And I’m okay with it. Sure, I did stick a bit more washi tape and stickers during Valentine’s and Chinese New Year week, just because I had some themed embellishments lying around. But I don’t find myself having the need to do any actual “decoration” on normal weeks. Maybe just a strip of washi tape across the top right page because there’s a blank, unused space.

I’ve decided not to do weekly decoration blog posts because I don’t decorate the weekly pages much these days. Instead, I will do a monthly recap on some of the more colourful pages, such as the monthly calendar and maybe a few random bits from what I call the “creative notebook” section.

So, here are a few pages from February in my Midori Traveler’s Notebook.

How was your February? Mine had been rather busy, especially during Chinese New Year and recovering after. I’m glad to be back to my daily routine and catching up on blogging again.

I know exactly what you mean – having a dedicated place to decorate (besides the actual planner pages) makes decorating the weekly pages not nearly as much fun. So little space to work with, while leaving room for all the actual planning…whereas an actual place to play? So much better!
I like how you have your monthly page done! It’s got a lot going on, but not so much so that its overwhelming. 🙂

Thanks, Jess! Having different “creative” areas is a lot of fun and I love that I can throw in stuff when I feel like it. I don’t find myself doing much planning these days because my daily routine is more or less set. My work has not really started yet except for the few odd tasks and meetings to attend.

Hello, sorry about the late reply. You can purchase MTN from Tabiyo or Stickerrific (online shops) and Kinokuniya in KLCC (but stock is limited).
