Planner Pages – Week 6

On Saturday, I met a friend who uses a Midori Traveler’s Notebook and got to play around with her planner for a bit. I fell completely in love with the look and feel of the notebook that I grabbed the last brown one available in Kinokuniya (Malaysia). Unfortunately, the inserts were rather limited (they were out of stock as usual) so I don’t have the weekly pages set up yet.

I did get the undated MO2P notebook and thought I’d show you how it’s decorated for February. It’s sorta Valentine’s Day themed. I have a few important dates to note, namely my husband’s birthday and Chinese New Year but I didn’t want the pages to be crowded with too much decoration and kept it simple. I wanted to have enough space to jot down appointments and notes.

I like that the pages are more spacious than the personal sized Filofax inserts. But as they are undated, I had to fill in the days so I used stamps. The Monday to Sunday stamps are from Heidi Swapp but they are a little too big. I will probably just write them down on the following months’ pages.

I will get back to decorating my weekly pages once the refills have arrived. I have a vague idea how I want the Midori planner to be set up as well as using my Filofax. I’m still waiting for a new Filofax to arrive and will be using it as a household, expenses and wallet combo.

Materials used:

  • Washi tapes from MT Tape
  • Numbers Stamp Set by Heidi Swapp
  • Dated roller rubber stamp
  • VersaMagic Chalk Ink in Eggplant, Malted Mauve and Pink Grapefruit
  • Stickers from various sets

Do follow me on Instagram as I often post photos of my planners in action.

What does your week look like?

I can’t wait to see how you set this up!! I’m sort of glad I’m *not* using my Happiedori as a planner, simply because I don’t think I could use the brain power to set up another planner!!
Do you think you will miss rings? I keep thinking I wouldn’t want a Midori for a planner, because there’s no way to take anything out or add anything easily, and then I can never remember having to actually add any pages in, ha!

I’ve been using the Midori for a few days and am really happy with it. I’ve been tweaking my system the last couple of months so switching to this is not as difficult. I think once you find the right inserts, it can definitely work as a planner. I will probably miss the rings but there’s something about the MTN that draws you in.

Based on what I’ve seen, your MTN looks great! I love how neat it is and your deco is lovely 🙂 I’ve ordered inserts and accessories from Tabiyo and Stickerrific (thanks for the recommendation). Can’t wait for them to arrive!
