Friday Feature: An Interview with She’s Eclectic

Friday Feature is a series where I feature people who inspire me, or products that I find interesting. Today, we have the oh-so-lovely Amanda from She’s Eclectic telling us a little bit about herself. I have been admiring Amanda’s amazing blog and Instagram feed since getting hooked on this planning journey.

Tell us a bit about yourself, what do you like to do when you’re not planning?

I have three fantastic children who amaze me daily and my husband is also my best friend, I am very lucky! When I have some free time I like to read murder mysteries and put my detective skills to the test.

What is your favourite planner and why?

Oh that’s a hard question! I like them all for different reasons but if I have to pick just one then I will say my ochre Malden Filofax. It has the nicest leather and is very practical with all it’s card slots and a zipped pocket.

What inspired you to start a blog?

My friend Stephanie had been blogging for a while and I enjoyed reading hers. It was also the start of a new year and I wanted to do something different that was just for me and writing a blog was easy to fit around the rest of my life.

Where would you like to go on a holiday?

Jamaica, I got married there eleven years ago and I would love to go back again on day.

What are your favourite stores (online or brick & mortar) to shop in?

My favourite online stores are Annie’s Paper Boutique and Mrs Brimbles on Etsy. I tend to buy my planning supplies online because it is easier to find what I want.

If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be?

And lastly, please leave a link to your blog and social media so we can connect with you:

Thank you so much for taking some time out in your busy schedule to answer my little interview questions, Amanda.

If you have a planner, home and living, crafting or cooking blog and would like to take part in the Friday Feature, please write to me at (seriously, don’t be shy!).

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

These interviews are so nice! It’s great reading people’s blogs, but they get to say whatever they want, whenever (as it should be!), but to get to know them a little better is quite fun!
